Buyers of store sheep and lambs for breeding and fattening purposes are experiencing the greatest difficulty in filling their requirements (says the Wairarapa Age). The contributing factors are an abundance of grass and and an extremely sensitive market. Fat sheep and lambs are reaching the freezing works in small drafts only, yet rape crops are waiting to be fed off.
