NOTICE is hereby \ given that the Wharepapa 'Road Board proposes to raise a special loan under the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and the State Advances Act, 1913. The purpose for which the loan is required is for metalling the following roads: — Main Road, Te Kawa to Ngaroma £2600 Otorohanga-Kihikihi Road £7OO Mangaorongo - Te Kawa Road £IOOO Te Mawhai (Cruickshank's Road £7OO £SOOO in the Wharepapa Road District for the first time. The sum proposed to be borrowed is five thousand 'pounds. The proposed security is a special rate of one fifth of a penny in the pound upon the ratable value of all ratable property in the Wharepapa Road District. The loan is for a period of thirty-six ar.d a half years, repayable by half-yearly instalments under the provisicr,} of Part Three of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913. with interest at four and a half per centum per annum.
