WRECK AT PATEA.
HAWERA STRIKES MOLE
(By Telegraph. Press Association.) WANG4NUI, Friday. The steamer Hawera struck thfe mole when entering Patea River yesterday, and was seriously damaged. She reached the wharf leaking badly, one side having been staved in. The steamer will be emptied and\ beached for temporary repairs.
