The Minister of Education (Hon. C. J. Parr) is to officially open the new school at Kaipaki at 3 p.m. to-mor-row. ' It is not yet announced when a similar ceremony, already long over due, will take place at Te Awamutu! Reference was made at last night’s meeting of the Borough Council to the inspection of the Arapuni site on Friday next by the Auckland Chamber of Commerce and the representatives of several local bodies in the Auckland district. . All the councillors will attend the conference at the site of the proposed works. It is understood that several other public bodies in Te Awamutu will be in attendance on that occasion.
