THE COMMONSENSE CURE. COLOSEPTIC. Knowledge of the cause of disease is the first step towards its cure. Ninety-eight per cent, of all ills are traceable to Autoxima —self-poisoning by the accumulation of waste matter in the colon. To overcome Autoxima, all kinds of drugs have been tried. There are countless purgatives on the market, but these at best afford only temporary relief, and often indeed cause harm to the delicate membrane lining the intestines. Being convinced that a cure for Autoxima was the pressing need of medical science, Dr. Albert Searle Wayne has, after years of study, produced Coloseptic. Coloseptic is the drugless cure, safe and sensible. Let it open for you the door to health and of fuller life. Get fit and keep fit. You can do it with Coloseptic. Coloseptic is dispensed by all Chemists, in original sealed packages. Price 5/6. 1
The pitfalls that attend the pathway of education have long been the subject of humorous reference among the teachers of the young. It is generally the scholar who provides the joke, due primarily to his confusion of similar words or facts. Recently, however, at one of our leading secondary schools, the teacher was in error. Catechising a junior class in French, he noted unusual proficiency in one pupil, to whom he devoted some time, passing on with a word of commendation for her facility but suggesting an improvement in her accent. Judge of his feelings when on subsequent inquiry he discovered that the pupil in question was a native of the south of France.
