STATISTICAL RETURNS.
w BUSINESS MEN IN COURT. (By Telegraph—Press Association).) WANGANUI, Monday. In Court to-day four business men were proceeded against for failing to send in trade returns at the time stipulated as required by the Government Statistician. The magistrate ( Mr. Wyvern Wilson) said it appeared to be a case of neglect. He convicted each of the defendants and ordered them each to pay 7/ costs and solicitor’s fee, £3 3/.
