The meeting freely discussed the question and was unanimous in a decision to form a club to be styled the Waipa Rod and Gun Club, and all present enrolled themselves asmembers ,there being the assurance that the membership will be largely in creased. It was decided to afliliatc the club with the central organisation and to adopt the standard rules lor the holding of a series of competitions in this centre. The election of ollieers resulted: l’atron. Mr A. S. Wallace; president, Mr Alex Young; vice-presidents •Messrs F. Quin, G. M. A. Aliier, T. Spear, J. Middlehrnok, J. T. Young, L. G. Armstrong, F. E. Phillips, and D. Eraser; committee, Messrs P. Soceii'mbe, 11. Benzie, E. Signal, A. Graham, A. W. Jones, G. Reynolds, and F. Taylor; secretary, W. G. Abbott; treasurer, A. W. Jones.'
