THE MONTH’S ACTIVITIES. The monthly meeting of the Waipawa School Committee was held last e veiling, there being present—Messrs S. W. Strang (chairman), W. J. Harris (secretary), A. V. Fleet (headmaster), E. Dunkin, F. Limbrick, P. Harwood, H. C. Mustehin, and Mrs Mason. An apology for non-attend-ance } was received from Mrs Adeane. Tfie Education Board advised that Coro'nation souvenirs in the shape of a suitably framed portrait of their Majesties, with the two Royal Princesses, were being presented to the school by the Government. The Department of Health reported that Nurse Groeott has been appointed senior dental nurse of the Wellington district. It was reported that arrangements had now been completed for the purchase of a set of “Encyclopaedia Brittanicn” for the school, which
