CENTRAL H.B. SUB-UNION
WINS FOE OLD BOYS AND TE AIJTE. What were practically the deciding matches in the senior championship of the Central H.B. Sub-union for the 1938 season were played on Saturday under fair conditions. Old Boys defeated Hangers, who had difficulty in getting a team together, and Te Ante triumphed over Otane. Takapau had a good win over Porangahau, and Waipawa won from Omakere by default.
