TEST CRICKET MATCH.

AUSTRALIANS LEAO ON FIRST INNINGS BY SMALL MARGIN. ANOTHER CENTURY TO BRADMAN. LONDON, July 24. At the end of the second day’s play in the fourth test cricket match at Leeds the position was very even. England were all out in their first innings for 223, and Australia could only muster 242 in reply. At stumps England had wiped out the deficit without the loss of a wicket.

The two captains were the shining lights on both sides. Hammond compiled 76 and Bradman just got over the century mark. O’Reilly had the bowling honors lor Australia, with five wickets for 66, and Fames, for England, got four for 77. The attendance on Saturday was 33,000, and the gate receipts amounted to £3303.
