The totalisator returns at the Waikato meeting showed an increase of '£lo,ooo by comparison with last year’s figures. The Manawatu Racing Club’s winter meeting on Saturday attracted a big attendance. Easter Rush paid a dividend of over a double century in the AVai-iti Trot at the South Canterbury meeting on Saturday.
