By a ballot the New Zealand Post and Ti a : -aph Employees’ Association he elded to contribute £IOOO, it is understood, to the fighting fund of the i w Zealand Labor Party. Tbe ba'lnt, which included all members of the association other than jomors. was Dominion-wide in scope. It is stated that 4209 members voted for the ureposal, 2238 voted against ■t and ibat approximately 2400 abstained from voting. When asked for a statement on the ballot, the secretary of the associahon, Mr .1, FT, McKenzie, declined to comment on the position.
