PERSONAL ITEMS,
Mr J. N. Barrie, of Otane, who recently underwent an operation in the District Hospital, has recovered sufficiently to be able to return to his home. Mr and Mrs F. R. Furminger leave to-morrow on a visit to the South Island. Mr Furminger will attend a Masonic meeting at Christchurch, and Mrs Furminger will visit relatives in Dunedin. Sister Reid, who has been at Pukeora Sanatorium for the last ten years, during the past two years as submatron, is leaving the institution shortly. Sister Reid has endeared herself to all the patients and has earned the esteem of all who have passed through the institution.
