AERIAL BUTCHERY.
RAID ON WORKING CUSS DISTRICT CHILDREN MACHINE-GUNNED. BARCELONA, October 2. Terrible .scenes marked a raid on a working class district by three squadrons of rebel bombers. Civilians who escaped the bombs fell victims < ! machine-guns. The total number dead is believed to be 300. and 34 buildings were destroyed. Twelve l.ombs fell in the environs of a school. The children still alive lied from the collapsing building, but wtre maehiu t inned as they ran. Rescueis are stiil combing the ruins for bodies.
