WAIPUKURAU STOCK SALE STRONG MARKET. A strong market for fat cattle ruled at Waipukurau yesterday, a medium yarding consisting mainly of cows meeting with a good demand at rates that showed an appreciable advance on recent Stortford Lodge rates. A few good pens of store cattle comprising P.A. and Hereford-cross cows, on account of Messrs McHardy Bros., sold quite well after good inquiry. The entry of fat sheep was good and the yarding of stores larger than at the last two weekly offerings.
