Dallas v. C. Bolt, £2 2s, costs £1 3s fid; Simpson and Son. v. Pat. Peters, 13s Id, costs 10s; G. IT. Kershaw v. I\. Cole. £2 (is Bd, costs £1 5s fid. Judgment summonses.—Henry Tawhi to pay W. Malenoir £22 ios 3d hy instalments of £1 per month, in default 20 days’ imprisonment; Mary Ness to pay Annie Colquhoun £9 Ifis (id at the rate of £2 per month, in default nine days’ imprisonment. LI GUTLESS BICYCLES. George. Fair, Eric Smith, and James Alexander McMurtrie were each fined 10s and 12s costs for riding bicycles without the regulation light. WANDERING STOCK. Annie M. Ford was fined 5s and costs l()s for permitting two cows to he at large on a publie road. MOTOR CASES. Claud Ilaswell, transport lorry driver, pleaded guilty by letter to travelling at a speed in excess of that allowed in the class in which his lorry is registered.—The traffic inspector stated that the maximum speed for the class was 15 miles an hour, whereas the defendant was travelling at 35 miles.—Fined £2 and costs 10s. AY. Turnbull, for carrying goods over a route other than that specified in liisi area license, was fined £1 and costs 10s. DAMAGED BRIDGE. L. Macpherson, whose lorry crashed into a bridge on the Tikokino road and did considerable damage, was convicted and discharged, he having paid the cost of repairs to the bridge.
