Entries for all Athletic, Chopping and Sawing events close with the Secretary on TUESDAY, 24th December, at 7 p.m., unless otherwise specified. Handicaps will be published in the “Waipawa Mail,” “Hawke’s Bay Herald” and “Daily Telegraph” on MONDAY, 30th December. Entries for all Horse events and Post Entry events close at the Secretary’s oflice half an hour before event. In all events three starters or no first prize, five starters or no second prize. Chopping and Sawing Events —Fees and last four 'performances to accompany entry, name of sawing mate to be stated. Athletic Events.—Competitors must forward fees and past two years’ performances. If no performances within the last two years, the last four (if any) to be stated. Refreshment Booth, Fruit Stall, and Hot Water on the ground.
