FIRE AT PORANGAHAU.

A seven-roomed dwelling at Porangahau owned by Topi te Kuril, was destroyed by fire early this morning. The only occupant was George te Kurti, who escaped in his night attire. Nothing was saved. The house was insured in the Hartford office for £7OO and the furniture for £2OO. The tire originated in the kitchen but the cause is unknown.
