Forty soldiers were wounded during armv manoeuvres near Cracow. Cavalry 'chanting, instead of pulling up at a hundred yards distance, dashed into the infantry, who were obliged to use their bayonets in selfdefence. The infantry commander had to order the release of gas, which checked the cavalry onslaught.
