ODDFELLOWSHIP.

A special summoned meeting of the Loyal Abbotsford Lodge was held on Friday evening, N.G. Bro. A. Kerr presiding over a large attendance of members. One new member rvas . initiated and a candidate proposed. P.G. Bio. W. J. Pel low was appointed financial secretary, in place of P.G. Bro. H. C. Collett, resigned. The appointment is subject to the confirmation of the District Management Committee.

The matter of an agreement with the Waipawa Hospital Board was gone into, IP. N.G. McKay bringing down a full report. The recommendation of the Management Committee that an agreement be made as per Left agreement read was carried, uo member dissenting. The Management Committee’s recommendation that members of Loyal Ruahine Lodge be invited to join Abbotsford’s hospital list was adopted. Arrangements were completed for Lodge to be rc-yr ented at the District Conference to be held at Napier on the 21st instant and for the transport of other than delegates who wish to attend the social function to follow.
