KIDNAPPING SEQUEL

Harrison Noel, aged 20, son of a wealthy lawyer, confessed to the kidnapping and murder of Mary Daly, step-daughter of Bower, also the murder of Pierce, a colored taxi driver, whose car Noel used, and wounding John Sandce, who pursued Noel. The confession followed the identification of Noel by Sandee in hospital. Noel, who previously stated that he merely kidnapped the girl for the purpose of demanding £BOO ransom, is a former student of a military college. He had been in an asylum. Both bodies were recovered.—(Sydney “Sun” cable).
