PERSONAL ITEMS.
Mi* Gilbert Lvnde, formerly of the Great Central Railway, England, will sail on March 12th to take up the position of chief mechanical engineer for the New Zealand railways. Mr AY. P. Finch, architect for the Abbotsford Orphanage and the Plunk'd Home, was in Waipawa yesterday, inspecting the former and laying out the ground for the latter.
