MAY PRECIPITATE POLITICAL CRISIS. (Electric Telegraph.—Copyright). (Received This Day, 10.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, This day. Mr Dooley, speaking at the Bathurst eight-hour day dinner, said the Government was prepared to appeal to the people if the Profiteering Bill was rejected by the Upper House. Mr Storey, interviewed subsequently, said hg did not contemplate an early election. He anticipated no opposition in the Upper House. In any case the Government would increase the Council’s strength before seeking a dissolution. —(A. & N.Z.)
