On Wednesday afternoon Mr G. 11. Roach (chairman of the Education Board), Mr G. McKay (representative for the Middle Ward), and Mr Dunn (secretary) paid a visit to the Waipawa District High School, where their attention was drawn to the need for enlarging the woodwork room It was stated that the Technical Association were prepared to pay a portion of the cost. Mr Roach undertook to instruct the Board’s architect to submit an estimate of the probable cost. The need for painting the school buildings was also brought under the notice of the visitors, and a promise given that this work would receive attention in the immediate future. Razors, strops, shaving soaps, etc., in great profusion at MeCleary and Co.’s, Waipawa.*
