QBAND FLEET BEADY FOB THE CALL. Times Service. LONDON, August 16. Colonel Eepington, after a visit to the Grand Fleet, writes that all is well with the Navy. The efficiency is 100 per cent, higher than at the outbreak of the war, and 50 per cent, better than in the Jutland battle.
The ships are in first-rate order and shown no signs of wear and tear, testifying to the unceasing dockyards vigilance, considering that 20,000 naval units have been repaired since 1914. The naval health is superb and the men are contented and good humored.
Our Navy is now an incomparably superior instrument. If fortune offers another fleet action none can doubt the result.
