SAVAGERY.
PRISONER DRAGGED THROUGH THE STREETS.
BOUND WITH CHAINS. Times Service. (Received This Day, 9 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, August 15. The Germans continue their savage executions in Belgium daily. A famous athlete, Van Wisutergem, condemned to death for espionage, was dragged, tied by twenty yards of chain, through the streets of Oudenarde, his guards spitting in his face, to the place of execution, where' he was shot. The victim bore his sufferings herocially.
