MINISTERS’ FUNCTIONS.
LIMITED TO WAR SUBJECTS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received This Day, 9 a.m.) LONDON, August 15. The House of Lords amended the new Ministers’ Bill limiting Ministers ’ functions to matters arising as a natural consequence of the war. Lord Salisbury explained that the object of the bill was to prevent experimenting in pet subjects.
