SECRET TUNNEL.
CONNECTING HOTEL WITH BUELOW’S HOUSE. Australian and N.Z. CuMj Association. (Received This Day, 2 p.m.) ROME, August 8. The Government have requisitioned the Aden Hotel, formerly Germanowned. They discovered a secret tunnel to the “Villa of Roses,” Count Buelow’s residence before the war, and it is believed the tunnel enabled the enemy to confer with neutrals who desired secrecy.
