INSPECTOR CUFF’S REPORT.

Reporting to the Hawke’s Bay Rabbit Board on the pest in this district Inspector Cuff states:—Norsewood: Killed one on scenic reserve, and one on Meha’s. Takapau: Killed one on Ashcott. Tikokino: Saw traces on Condrick’s, through Vesty’s, Fowlds’, Smith’s and Rumble’s, killed one and saw traces on Cassidy’s, killed one and saw traces on Langley’s, started one and saw traces on McKay’s, killed one and saw traces on Mathieson’s and on Georgetti’s, killed two on Hodd’s, saw one on Chalmers’ and traces on Duff’s, started one on Hynisli, started one and saw traces on Georgetti’s and Stewart’s. Poporangi: Killed one and saw traces. Kereru: Killed one on Turnbull’s, started one on Dougal Walker’s, saw traces on Big Hill and on Jowsie’s, killed one on Olrig. Mangatahi: Killed one on Mitchell’s and one on Meache’s, started one on Walker’s, killed one on Jackson’s and started another onWilson’s; killed two on Nugent’s, started one and say traces on McGaflin’s, saw traces on Teschmaker’s, and on Graham’s, started one on Sorenson’s [late Ebbett’s), killed one on Dasent’s, and saw traces on Tait’s, saw signs on Corbett’s (late Wilson’s). Salisbury: Killed two on Anderson’s, saw traces on Brownlie’s (late Price’s), saw traces on McFarlane’s, Ben Lomond, started three on Maraekakaho station, saw slight signs on Green Hills. Pukepuke: Saw traces on Anderson’s and Ebbett’s. Te Hauke: Saw traces on Taranaki’s, and on Hawke Bush Reserve, saw traces and started two on Ellison’s, started one and saw traces on Rapiania’s. Te Aute: Killed one on Kinross White’s. Anarua: Saw traces on Mrs H. Carlson’s, saw signs on O. Carlson/s. Te Reinga: Killed one on Hollis’, killed one and started an-.! other on J. Herbert’s. Tahike: Killed one on Nestor’s. Maraekakaho: Killed two on Jamieson’s and one on Glencoe, saw traces on Ward’s (late Smythe’s), saw traces on Goodwin’s and on Clarkson’s. Gwavas: Saw signs on Roach’s and Walshe’s, killed one on McMillan’s, started one on Gwavas station, saw traces on Wharetoka. Tikokino: Saw traces on Knapp’s and Holden’s (Wakarara road), saw signs at Bush. Takapau: Saw traces on Nepe’s.
