Rupert Thompson, a resident of Newcastle and for several months a prisoner at Rulileben camp, Germany, who was exchanged owing to his health failing, lias now recovered and ! has enlisted. He is proceeding to France to fight his late captors. EARLY CLOSING. ABSENTEE VOTES DELAY FINAL RESULT. (Received This Day, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, This day. Owing to the delay in receiving the absentee votes it is now stated that six o’clock closing is unlikely to operate before the end of June.
