WIRELESS OPERATOR’S ERROR. (Received This Day 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, This day. Mr George Mclver, a passenger on the Sussex, describing the torpedoing of the vessel, states After an hour’s delay, the wireless apparatus was repaired and the vessel called for assistance. The delay in the arrival of the rescuers was due to the operator giving the wrong position I of the ship.
