THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMME has been decided upon for the commemoration of “Anzae Day” in Waipawa:— 1. Independent services at the Anglican and Catholic Churches and a combined MethodistPresbyterian service at the Methodist Church, all to commence at 9.30 a.m. Evening devotions will be held at the Catholic Church at 7 p.m. to commemorate Anzae Day. 2. Open-air function opposite Municipal Theatre at 11 a.m. (weather permitting, in the theatre if weather conditions unfavorable). The School Children, Cadets, Territorials, National Reserve, and Municipal Band will parade. Short address will he delivered by Mr G. Hunter, M.l’. The public of Waipawa are invited to assist in the celebrations to commemorate the glorious deeds of the New Zealand boys on the historic battleground of Anzae, by attending the demonstration and also by displaying flags.
