Clemenoeau, commenting on the German newspapers’ attacks on Russia, declares that the entente should not be broken up, despite the amiability barbed with threats, wherewith the Kaiser amuses himself iu pricking us. That Germany’s power is held in check by the entente is equivalent to a force whioh ■tops her on the threshold cf foimidable undertakings.
