The Centre Party are pleading in the Reichstag for the abolition of the duel. The mover said the institution was in •xistenoe io Berlin. He contended that so-oalled men of honour were leading their wives to infidelity and providiog indefensible grounds for the duel. He added that the police and the Public Prosecutor were aware of the institution
