Meetings of Householders.

Blackburn. At the meeting of householders on Monday night, the following committee was elocted :—Messrs H. Hardy (chair), J. Jensen, 0. Brown, B. Ireland and B. Doar. Ruahine (Blackburn). On Monday evening, at the meeting of householders, the following committee was elected :—Messrs A. E. Freemantle (chairman), W. Adams, E. Alder, C Doar and P. T. Fargher. Tlkokino. The following school committee was elected at the annual meeting of householders on Monday : —Messrs W. Green (chairman), T Addis, D. Eddy, H. Smith, C. Green, W. Parkinson, F. Hutchinson. Mr D. Eddy was appointed secretary. Otane. (Own Correspondent) The'following committee was elected : —Messrs G. McKay (chairman), J. J. Langridge, E. Lewis, W. Fletcher (secretary), P. JenseD, G. Hesp and R. H. Trotter.
