[Per Press Association.] Thameh, This day.

William Reid, aged 18 years, mot his death in a strange manner last night. He was with some friends out on the Hauraki Gulf, on a fishing excursion. On the return voyage he weut to bed in the cabin and appeared iu the best of health. When the launch arrived at the Thames, Reid was found dead. Medical assistance was summoned but life was extinct. The doctor expressed the opinion that death was caused by the inhalation of benzine fumeß Another passenger said he felt ilLand it is believed to be from the same oause.
