Attempted Murder and Suicide.
[Per Press Association.] Ohkistchuhch, This day. Jamas Orr, a wharf labourer, went on a holiday to the Port with his sweetheart, yesterday. He evidently quarreled with her. On returning to the eity in the evening, after making a row at tha girl’s home in Falgrave-street, a ooostable was oailad in. On ssaing tha constable be put a revolver to his temple and tirad. Hit eondition is critical. It is said that Orr tried to shoot the girl three times but the weapon missed firs.
