WAIPAWA BOROUGH COUNCIL. ELECTION OF MAYOR. In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1000, und of the Local Ejections Act, 1904, and their several Amending Acts, respectively. I HEREBY give public notice that an Election for the office of MAYOR will bo hold on WEDNESDAY, the oth day of May, 1908, and I hereby appoint the Borough Office, as the place, and WEDNESDAY, the 29th April, 1908, before Noon, as the day for the Nomination of Candidates. Nominations raurt be made on the prescribed form, which may be obtained at the Borough office. A Deposit of £lO is required from each Candidate nominated, which will bo forfeited if the Candidate does not poll one-eighth of the votes polled by the fuccessful Candidate. Vide Section 29 M.C.A., 1900, the Poll shall commence at 9 o’clock in the forenoon of the day appointed for the samo, and shall close at 7 o’clock on the afternoon of the same day. J. O.
