Stock Market. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report:—We held our fortnightly stock Bale at Stortford Lodge on Tuesday when we offered a good yarding of sheep and a few pens of cattle to a large attendance of those interested. Fat sheep were well competed for, and sold well up to late market rates. Good store wethers were in great request. For a line of 2700 four, six and eight-tooth wethers, an exceptionally good store line offered on account of Sir Francis Prioo, Puterino, we realised 13s. The following were our sales Light fut wethers Ha 6d to 15s, fat ewes (light) 13s, forward shorn lambs 7s 2d, store wethers 12s to 13s. Eighteen-month steers £2 10s.

Abrahams and Williams, Limited, report on their Johnsonville sale on Tuesday as follows :—A full entry of cattle, the quality ranging from small prime quality to rough medium Boris, with a few pons of killable. The heifers and cows were of prime quality. Ox beef made 22s 6d per 1001 b. Best bullocks £8 to £8 17s 6d, £7 10s to £7 17s 6d, rough £G, heifers £G 17s 6d to £7, £6 to £G 12s Gd. A small entry of pigs of good quulity made 15s to lGs. Fat ewes and wethers 15s 2d, lambs 12s to 13s 4d, store ewes 5s to 6s 7d, Romney rams £1 Is, two-tooth 2igns.
