Stock Market. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report:—We held our fortnightly stock Bale at Stortford Lodge on Tuesday when we offered a good yarding of sheep and a few pens of cattle to a large attendance of those interested. Fat sheep were well competed for, and sold well up to late market rates. Good store wethers were in great request. For a line of 2700 four, six and eight-tooth wethers, an exceptionally good store line offered on account of Sir Francis Prioo, Puterino, we realised 13s. The following were our sales Light fut wethers Ha 6d to 15s, fat ewes (light) 13s, forward shorn lambs 7s 2d, store wethers 12s to 13s. Eighteen-month steers £2 10s.
