Tho no-.vE paper Footwear was mulcted by tho King's Bench for £3OOO damages for libelling Mr Sopor, a bootseller of Pookliam, iu connection with his campaign against boots partially made of cardboard, and in favour of a standard mark on those made of solid leather.
