Division of the County.

Dannbvirke, This day
A committee of tho Waipawa County Council met to-day and considered fully the proposal to divide the county iu two parts, tho four southern ridings to form one county and the five northorn ridings to form another. It was unanimously agreed to promote a Bill iu Parliament to effect the proposed division. Messrs Jull (chairman), Erickson, Armstrong, Cook, Nik-1 tinea, and Merriken were present.
