Weddings.
At St. Andrew’s Church, Waipnka on May 26th, a very pretty weddiop solemnised by the Rev J. J. Patti the contracting parties being Mr Wilt Gordon Grant, of Porangahau, and I Marion Lowry, second daughter of late Mrs Jas. Lowry, of Tikokino, brido was attired in a pretty Ron soft creme doth with orthodox n and veil and carried a lovely bouquet. She was attended at bni maid by her sister Miss Ellen I/» who wore creme silk with pretty d and pale green felt hut and a haodn turquoise brooch, the gift of the ki groom Mr K. Newman actodw man. Mr and Mrs GraD* left f« South for their wedding trip, thil travelling in a costume of bluo doth black hat. A very pretty wedding was celti at Arlington on Wednesday, wheni Jessie F. Hooper was married to I W. Houston. The ceremony hi formed by tho Rev. F. W. Marti. A. Houston (Wellington) was bii l and Mr Fraser Jones, brother d 1 bnde, was groomsman. The ** breakfast was served in a large nUk on the lawn, after which the * couple left by motor-car en wi* Rotorua, where the honeymoon w spent. The presents were both tali and numerous.
