A section at Onga Onga, in the bankrupt estate of W. McGreevy, was sold by Messrs Williams and Kettle, this morning. The purchaser was Mr Fletcher, and the price paid was £215. A considerable subsidance of the land adjoining Railway road, Tipapakuku, near Dannevirke, occurred a few days ago, and yesterday the road itself slipped away taking with it a portion of the tramway used by the Tiratu Sawmill Company to bring their timber to Mangatera. The County Overseer left this morning to inspect and make arrangements for keeping traflio open.
