Hatuma Railway Station.
The following has been received by Mr Charles Hall, from the Minister for Railways : Head Office, Wellington, 7th August, 1903.
Sir, —With reference to your letter of the 27th April, forwarding petition from Hatuma settlers in regard to the inadequate siding accommodation at Hatuma railway station, I have the honour to inform you that it has been decided to shift the station to a more suitable site and effect considerable improvements thereto, and the work will be put in hand at an early date. In connection with the alterations the siding accommodation will be very materially improved.—l have, &c., J. G. Ward, Minister for Railways.
