Wedding.
A very pretty wedding was solemnised at Tangarewa, Takapau, last Wednesday, when Mr Frank White, of Sherwood, was united in marriage to Miss Prioe, fourth daughter of the late Mr Alfred Henry Prioe, J.P., of Tangarewa. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. F. W. Martin, vicar of St. Mary’s parish, Waipukurau. The bridesmaids were Miss Inglis, and Miss M. Price. The bride was given away by Mr R. Price. Notwithstanding the wet weather there was a large attendance of guests, amongst whom were Mrs White, of Sherwood, Mr and Mrs Sydney Johnston, Misses Johnston, Mr and Mrs Carlyon, of Gwavas, who arrived with others in their motor car, Mr and Mrs Kinross White, Mr and Mrs H. Lambert, Messrs H. H. and S. Bridge, H. and E. White, and many more friends of the bride and bridegroom. The presents were numerous and costly. The happy couple proceeded to Dannevirke en route for Sydney, Australian ports and Ceylon, where the honeymoon will be spent. Mr and Mrs Frank White are expected to return in November.
