THE Fishing Season will open on the Ist October, 1901, and close on the 20th April, 1902. Licenses can be obtained at most of the Money Order Post-offices within the Hawke’s Bay, Waipawa, and Patangata Counties, including the Taupo and Woodville Districts. License Fee £l. Ladies’ Licenses ss. Boys attending schools ss. Tourists and Visitors residing outside the district 5s per month or part of a month. Licenses issued on and after Ist January 12s 6d. The society will give the sum of £2 2s, in addition to half the fine, to anyone giving evidence enabling a conviction to be recorded against any person fishing without a license or out of season.
