PATANGATA COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE OF STOPPING A ROAD. IT is the intention of the above to stop a portion of the main road between Wanstead and Wallingford, in Blocks Eparaima a., and Eparaima 0., Block XV., Motuotaria Survey Distriot. NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of Ratepayers of the Taradale Road Extension Special Rating District will be held at the residence of Mr T. B. Insoll, of Danevirke, at 2 p.m, on MONDAY, the 18th day of November, 1901, to consider the Council’s proposals to borrow under the provisions of the Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886, and its amendments, particularly of sub-section 3 of section 2, of the Amendment Act, 1899, for a period of 41 years, the sum of £6O for the construction of Taradale Road Extension, Danevirke. 0. THE Fishing Season will open on the Ist October, 1901, and close on the 20th April, 1902. Licenses can be obtained at most of the Money Order Post-offices within the Hawke’s Bay, Waipawa, and Patangata Counties, including the Taupo and Woodville Districts. License Fee £l. Ladies’ Licenses ss. Boys attending schools ss. Tourists and Visitors residing outside the district 5s per month or part of a month. Licenses issued on and after Ist January 12s 6d. The society will give the sum of £2 2s, in addition to half the fine, to anyone giving evidence enabling a conviction to be recorded against any person fishing without a license or out of season.
