Antarctic Expedition.
(Per Press Association.) Christchurch, This day. Twenty-five Canterbury flock owners are contributing ten prime Canterbury sheep apiece, as a gift to the Discovery, on condition that the Government will deliver the sheep free at Lyttelton. It is also suggested that perhaps some other districts might supply the expedition with beef, butter and cheese on the same terms.
