The force of the wind at Berrigan etc be judged, when it is stated that s thousand gallon tank was lifted bodily and carried a mile. MELBOURNE, This day The storm did immense damage, especially to property and crops. In the Castlemaine district the esti* mated damage is £50,000. A relief fund has been started to is* sist people who have been rendered homeless. The wheat crops in some districts an practically ruined.
