Dates of Nominations, Acceptances, &c. Nominations close with the Secretary at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 28th. Weights will be declared on or about Wednesday, May 9th. Acceptances close at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16th. N.B.—Telegraph Office at Waipawa closes at 5 p.m. Rules and General Conditions. I. Races 3 and 6 will be open to all horses. 2. No deduction will be made from the advertised stakes. 3. A Hack shall mean a horse whose winnings in any race since the Ist of August, 1899, do not exceed £BO, or £l5O collective, at time of starting. 4. No entry will be received for any race except upon the condition that all claims, disputes, and objections shall be decided by a majority of the stewards present, or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be final. 5. The attention of owners and trainers is particularly called to Rule 75 of the “ Rules of Racing,” which will be strictly enforced. 6. In all nominations, description, age, pedigree, and performances of horses and colors of the rider must be given. 7. Metropolitan “ Rules of Racing ” will be adhered to. 8. In all flat races on this programme the winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights, shall carry a penalty of 101 b. 9.
