GAMEB WILL COMMENCE AT 11 A.M. SHARP. VALUE OF PRIZES IN CASH AND TROPHIES, OVER £IBO. The Caledonian Handicap will be ran in Three Distances—looyds, 220yds, and 440yds—with Ist, 2nd, and 3rd Prizes of (Cash and Trophies) £4, £2, sod £1 for each distance. Points will count for the aggregate as follows First 6, Second 3, Third 2. Aggregate of prizes—First aggregate, £5 and Gold Medal; Second, £5 ; Third, £4. Nomination 6s, acceptance 4s. In Amatenr Events only members of recognised Amatenr Clubs will be allowed to compete. Acceptances for Handicaps, and Entries for other events (accompanied by fees and colors), to be in the hands of the Secretary, at the Masonic Hotel, Napier, by 9 pm. on or before WEDNESDAY, 20th January, 1897.
